Intersport announces its arrival in Morocco next April, with the opening of its first store in Casablanca. Morocco will thus become the 43rd foreign country in which Intersport, the world's leading sporting goods retailer, has set up shop.
This first store will be the starting point for Intersport in Morocco, where a network of a dozen other stores is planned in cities such as Marrakech, Tangier and Agadir in 2015.
The brand will be represented by Moroccan athlete Hachim El Gerrouj, a four-time world champion and two-time Olympic champion specializing in long-distance running.
