In a tight materials trading market, the Gedimat - Gedibois cooperative group attracted 17 new contractors in 2015, including 13 from rival chains.

In 2015, the Gedimat network of independent builders' merchants and DIY stores saw 17 new points of sale created or aligned with its colors. Its little sister Gediboisa wood-panel specialist, opened 4 new outlets during the period. Weighted by an equivalent number of network exits, these new outlets give the cooperative a stable total of 494 stores in France, including 444Gedimat and 50 Gedibois.

A fleet, but also relatively stable sales. Last year, sales totaled €1.750 billion (€1.57 billionfor Gedimat, €180 million for Gedibois) versus €1.8 billion in 2014, despite a 3.5% decline on a like-for-like basis. In a trading market, both general and wood, that is struggling, having fallen by 4 to 5% over the period.
