A graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Rouen, Claude Coutant (50) began her career in 1985 as a sales engineer with Philips Data Systems, then Unisys, before joining the family business in 1996. Together with her brother, Franck Bernigaud, she now runs the Bereziat company, which includes five BigMat outlets in the Mâcon region. The company, which has been part of the brand for 22 years, generated sales of 26 million euros in 2012 and employs 72 people. A member of the Board of Directors since 2005, she is also a member of the Supervisory Board of BigMat France.
Its mission will be to ensure the coherence of the sign's objectives, based on inter-country coordination, European development and the implementation of joint projects.
