In a home furnishings sector that's set to enjoy good momentum in 2019, it's the kitchen and bedding worlds that are once again doing best. In these markets, here are a few brands that you might not think of when you want to set up a franchise. And wrongly so!

The furniture sector is set for growth this year. Over the first 10 months of the year, sales were up 3.7% (source: IPEA). This growth is once again being driven by the kitchen and bedding sectors. Sales of kitchen furniture are expected to top 2.8 billion euros by the end of the year, with growth between +5 and +7%. And in this segment, kitchen specialists have recorded double-digit growth every month in 2019. According to the IPEA, the kitchen sector should continue to perform well in 2020. Bedding also shines, with growth forecasts of between +2 and +4% and sales expected to exceed 1.6 billion euros. Here again, bedding specialists are performing very well.
