At the 15th Giropharm Pharmacists' Congress (which took place in Madrid from October 2nd to 5th), the group announced to its members the major strategic areas for the network's development in 2015: commercial competitiveness, educational stance in supporting patients, and network mobilization.
Giropharm's goal: to help its members transition to a service pharmacy and strengthen their businesses' profitability, while preserving the independence of French pharmacies. To this end, the group mobilizes its members around two major areas of development.
// L’EXPERTISE SANTE
- Validating training in Therapeutic Patient Education (TPE)
- New partnerships with learned societies and patient associations: Giroprevent (Investigation Group for Recommendations for Compliance and Prevention in Pharmacy) has enabled the implementation, in partnership with prescription product laboratories and complementary payers, of several real-life studies aimed at demonstrating the impact of pharmacist intervention on improving compliance in diabetic patients.
// LA PERFORMANCE COMMERCIALE
- Pushed feeds every month: Members will receive a turnkey system each month for promoting products and promotional prices to customers.
- An exclusive economic performance monitoring tool with AGT
Finally, Giropharm is working alongside Federgy (the leading trade union of pharmacy groups and brands, bringing together 14 national groups and representing 12,000 pharmacies) to defend the specific interests of the groups and obtain representation with the authorities.
