"Like every year before Christmas, the French elect a new Miss France. And with each election comes its own crown and designer. For the 2014 edition, Julien d'Orcel was once again chosen, for the fifth year running, to design the precious accessory.
Discovered on Saturday December 7, 2013, the famous accessory now adorns the hairstyle of the new Miss France, Flora Coquerel from Orléans.
Composed of white crystals for the most brilliant effect, the crown was made in the French workshops of Julien Dorcel. Named "Oiseau de nuit", the jewel takes up an animal theme and is feminine, elegant and light. "It's a unique crown with a strong personality, to be in total harmony with the future French beauty queen," explains Julien d'Orcel, its creator, in a press release.
