In News, Customers

On August 4, 2014, Orvaltais welcomed a delightfully cool new shopkeeper. Breads, viennoiseries, pastries, hot products, salads and fresh sandwiches, all day long... Damien PLANTE has recruited 8 employees to open his "Atelier pains et restauration" - La Mie Câline's new concept.

Wanting to go further, to do something different... coming from mass retail, Damien didn't choose La Mie Câline by chance. A former department manager in a supermarket chain in Brittany, Damien explains: " After 8 years in the supermarket sector, I was looking for a new challenge. I knew the brand as a customer at La Mie Câline in Quimper and Brest. The quality of the products, the family spirit... that's what made me decide!"

Damien seized the opportunity to open a sales outlet on the outskirts of town. "Setting up in Orvault was an obvious choice. I wanted to stay in the West of France, and I was attracted by the brand's new out-of-town concept. I can't wait to introduce our customers to this new space."

With its acidic signage and window displays accented by yellow banners, the contemporary bread and catering workshop spans 180 m2La Mie Câline' s deliciously sympathetic offer!

Bread, viennoiseries, pastries, delicatessen products, fresh salads and sandwiches... from breakfast to dinner, all products can be taken away or enjoyed on site.

The preparation areas are open to the sales area:

♦ l'atelier painsis a modern bakery dedicated to baking breads and viennoiserie,
♦ the catering workshopis the laboratory reserved for the preparation of sandwiches, salads and other snacking products.
