Giropharma: a nomadic, isothermal first-aid kit and an advice brochure

More than 8 out of 10 French people take a kit with them on vacation.

In July and August, pharmacists from the Giropharm group are on hand to offer personalized advice on putting together first-aid and first-aid kits.

According to a recent IFOP / Giropharm* survey, 54% of French people systematically take a first-aid kit with them on vacation, and 29% do so from time to time. This practice is more marked among women and people aged 35-49, who are the most conscientious about putting together their first-aid kit, and tend to take significantly more products with them. Furthermore, 2/3 of French people think about modifying the contents of their first-aid kit depending on their destination. When properly constituted and organized, the first-aid kit is the ideal tool for coping with minor everyday aches and pains on vacation. It keeps all potentially useful medicines and products in one place. However, 17% of French people never take a first-aid kit on vacation. It's essential that the kit is complete and well-organized to be effective, but many of us don't have the right reflexes: while 94% of French people think of taking a painkiller and bandages with them, fewer than 1 in 2 think of taking a medical thermometer, and only 45% of French people take the instructions for their medicines with them.

This practical case is made of soft, particularly resistant neoprene. Isothermal, it can be kept at a constant 30°C to prevent medicines from overheating, thus preserving all their qualities. Lightweight (140 g) and compact (22 cm square), it can be taken anywhere. It is ideal** for patients who visit a pharmacy to put together their own medicine kit, in conjunction with advice.

It also comes with an indicative list, printed inside, of the main products to take away.
There are 4 thematic lists:
-- Medicines or medical devices (painkillers, ointments for knocks, local
antiseptic, sun protection...)
-- Pediatrics (child-specific painkillers, saline solution, spare pacifiers, etc.)
pacifiers...)
-- Dressings (rolls of plasters, stretch bandages, etc.)
-- Accessories (thermometer, venom pump, survival blanket, etc.)
survival blanket...)
Giropharm's pharmacists are available to customize the contents of the 1st Aid / 1ers secours kit to suit the needs and destinations of their patients.

The "first aid, first aid for summer's little aches and pains" advice brochure. In addition to advice for the 1st aid / 1st care kit, in this period of the Football World Cup, your Giropharm pharmacist gives you the keys to a successful physical and sporting practice
(How to get started? How to stay hydrated and eat properly? What should you wear?
to wear? What intensity of physical activity? What to do in the event of injury). The guide also covers what to do in the event of an injury or minor boo-boo related to physical activity or sport. You'll learn how to treat scratches, redness after a hike, irritated eyes caused by chlorine in the pool, or an insect bite...

Thanks for these tips, and happy vacations to all!
