Organized since 1987 by the FFF, the Rubans de la franchise awards recognize deserving franchisees, franchisors and franchise partners every two years. The procedure for awarding the Rubans requires each candidate to be recommended.

A must-attend event for the major players in franchising

Every 2 years, the French Franchise Federation awards the Rubans de la Franchise to all those involved in the development, promotion or enhancement of franchising in France and abroad, with rigor and efficiency. The most competitive and innovative franchisors, the most successful franchisees and those most involved in the local economic fabric, as well as franchise partners - bankers, experts and institutions - who have actively contributed to the development of franchising through their specific skills, are thus rewarded.

Three grades will then be awarded: Silver Ribbons, Gold Ribbons and the Grand Gold Ribbon.

An honest selection process based on sponsorship

The Rubans de la franchise award procedure requires each candidate to be recommended by a leading figure (public authorities, franchisors, franchisees, journalists, consultants, chamber of commerce, bank, etc.).

Ribbons are classified by category:

- Franchisor Silver Ribbon

- Franchisee Silver Ribbon

- Silver Ribbon Franchise Partner

- Franchisor Gold Ribbon

- Franchisee Gold Ribbon

- Ruban d'Or Franchise Partner

- Grand Gold Ribbon

Once again this year, the jury will be made up of leading figures from the world of commerce and franchising.

To decide on each application, the jury will examine the sponsor's motivations and the sponsor's background and personality.

"Every year, the Rubans de la franchise awards people who are committed to their profession and their business, people who are active and committed to their teams, their networks, but also to the French economic fabric. In an uncertain economic climate, it's important for us to show that franchising is dynamic, and to reward those who support the model on a daily basis and strive to drive the sector forward," says René Prévost, President of the French Franchise Federation.

The 2015 Franchise Ribbons

Sponsorship forms had to be sent to the Rubans de la franchise Association by February 24, 2015.

Sponsored individuals received their application files by post. Applications had to be sent no later than April 17, 2015 to Association des Rubans de la franchise - Fédération française de la franchise - 29 boulevard de Courcelles 75008 Paris.

Candidates and sponsors will receive a letter in September informing them of the recipients.

The awards ceremony is scheduled for November 3, starting at 7pm (Paris 2nd).
